After watching the film “42”, I came to the conclusion that one of the most important scenes throughout the film takes place at 01:21:23.

What do I think of a movie that would be considered a favorite of mine or to become one? Well, I would imagine a movie that is suspenseful, bewildering, exhilarating, and comical, has a little romantic twist and something that I don’t really have to think about in depth to understand the main idea or point being presented. So pretty much an emotional roller-coaster!

I waited impatiently in my seat while surrounded by a full audience for the speaker and author Joy Harjo of “Crazy Brave”. As she made her entrance she walked in with a huge smile and an open heart to everyone.

From the very beginning of Joy Harjo’s memoir, entitled Crazy Brave, the book explores and covers many problems of domestic abuse, not only in her own life but then again as a nation. Throughout Joy’s life she is repeatedly abused by several men and points out others as well in same situations that knowingly accept the abuse from the abusers. So why do these women acknowledge and accept such behavior, are they weak and or is violent a main player?
